Dr. Andrea Lanell Brown, MD

How do I find out where Dr Brown is practicing? She was my doctor in Los Alamitos and I loved her. Always took her time with her patients

I dont worry about waiting because all the tops doctors are in high demand and people are generally late, if you book after there lunch break then your wait wont be too long. I beat diabetes and lowered my A1c. Dr Brown addressed all my concerns. I generally call before my appt for blood work documents to be mailed to me before we met. When we meet I informed her of what I was doing and she explained the blood work that proved what I was doing. I ate low carbohydrate to lower my A1c and working on getting it down in the 5's. Very good doctor.

I waited 1 1/2 hours for my visit, 30 minutes in room before she arrived. Had a quick impersonal exam. Was told to wait for someone to draw blood. Waited 10 minutes then went out and asked if I was to go somewhere else for blood test. The person said no someone would be there soon and bingo he was. Overall it was a very frustrating visit and who cares. Right?

It;s hard to imagine that Dr. Brown never took the time to see how one of her patients was doing in a hospital that she is affiliated with. My wife was in ICU for over 4 weeks and never received any info about this doctor checking up or sharing medical information.

I have been seeing Dr. Brown for a few years now and every visit I've had is pleasant. She makes a genuine effort to listen to your needs and show empathy. When it came time for her to make serious decisions in regards to my health- like going on blood pressure medication- she has always walked me through my options and been very caring to my feelings while doing so.

I switched to Dr. Brown with a change of insurance almost 3 years ago. While the wait to see her is long (I've never sat in the waiting room less than 45 minutes!), she has always taken as much time as I need to exam me, address my concerns and answer questions. She inserts humor, when appropriate, making me feel more relaxed and at ease. Her nurse has also always been compassionate and caring. Beyond the wait to see her, I have absolutely no complaints! She is one of my favorite doctors to date!

A was recommended Dr. Brown because she was suppose to be a nice Christian Dr. Unfortunately, her first words were, "I can only answer 2 questions so think of them now and I'll see if I can answer them". She was rushing me the entire time and I felt like she didn't care and was meeting her quota. What a terrible office visit. I did ask her 2 questions and she said, "Easy one first and I don't have time to answer second after all, you can ask next appointment." Believe me it was a terrible experience with a quick 10 minute visit with her while waiting 45 minutes to see her, this was my annual physical in 10 minutes. I won't be wasting my time with a quota Dr. So much for her representing Christianity. HA!

Every time I have seen her I have waited for ever to see her.

Today I had many health concerns, I was aware that Dr Brown was very thorough, but my concern was due to my own forgetfulness. I'm very grateful to have this quality medical care.
