Dr. Andrea Leah Crowell, MD

On Thanksgiving today I would like to say Thank you to Dr. Crowell. In the 2 months I have seen her she has been phenomenal. She is very thorough in her assessments and her explanations for anything that I don't understand. I came to her a mess thanks to being on the wrong meds, and she's got me on a good path. She shows a lot of care for her patients. I was referred to her from 2 friends and my therapist, all of whom have similar thoughts. Thanks Dr. Crowell!

I think she is good for medication mgt but she lacks compassion. If you want cold facts go for it. Avoid for therapy if you want to come out alive

After three years of intensive therapy she let the clinic throw me out with no help essentially because I had a suicidal breakdown in her office. Avoid like the plague for therapy.

She is good with med management but she lacks compassion and competence for therapy. She does psychoanalysis and she refuses to offer practical skills help whatever is happening in your life and if that becomes hard she will dump you in a second

I think she is a good med manager but she is useless at therapy and in the end what is worse she never takes responsibility for her mistakes. You cannot rely on her to see the process through with you. She is in psychoanalysis but she will not even tell you nor explain this to you

She likes to think herself as a good therapist but she is 100% psychoanalytic and her framework does not let her be effective with pressing immediate needs. She destroyed my life

I have been going to Dr. Crowell for the past few years for medication management. She is extremely knowledgeable about her field and has gone above and beyond to help me. A couple reviews I've read seem to be confusing medication management with talk therapy - if you want talk therapy try a psychologist, LPC, or a psychiatrist at a private practice that does talk therapy. She is fantastic at what she does, takes great notes, and is a great listener.
