Andrea B. DeLurgio, DDS, MSD
A native of Scotts Valley, California, Dr. DeLurgio is a patient-focused and results-oriented professional. She received her undergraduate education in Biology at UC Irvine and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific with Honors in 2005. Upon graduation, she practiced general dentistry and enjoyed teaching at Pacific in the Department of Restorative Dentistry. Drawn to orthodontics, Dr. DeLurgio went on to earn a Master’s Degree and Certificate in Orthodontics, also from Pacific, where she received an award for the highest scholarship in her orthodontic graduating class. Dr. DeLurgio’s research interests have focused on the genetic factors associated with cleft lip and palate. Studies she co-authored with Pacific’s Craniofacial Genetics Laboratory went on to receive the prestigious Harry Sicher Research Award by the American Association of Orthodontists for two consecutive years. Combined with a down-to-earth attitude, Dr. …DeLurgio’s primary goal is to provide effective, efficient orthodontic treatment. Dr. DeLurgio is a member of the well respected Progressive Orthodontic Study Group and when not immersed in treating her patients, Dr. DeLurgio enjoys spending time with her husband, Daniel, traveling and exploring the outdoors.
