Dr Douglas and her staff are wonderful . Her gentle manner and extraordinary knowledge were so reassuring . Dr Douglas ability to assess and compare previous and current MRIs and proposal of a plan going forward have us hope after 2 weeks of excessive pain . Her directing her staff to persist in getting us in to Pain Management to get relief started my husband on a path we hope back to normalcy . We are so grateful .

I need a spinal fusion and Dr. Douglas did a fabulous surgery on me. no one would ever know of my spinal injuries if I did not tell them. She is the very best.

The minute I met Dr. Douglas I loved her energy. She was my third “second opinion” and an hour away from where I live but I knew after meeting with her, she was worth the drive. Dr. Douglass was sympathetic and kind and instantly made me feel like I was finally going to get relief from years of back pain and failed treatments. Bonus, her office staff was always friendly and I never had to wait more then ten minutes to see her. Surgery was a huge success and I would recommend Dr Douglass to anyone with back pain!

I found Dr. Douglas to be dismissive and outright rude at times. When my symptoms persisted in neck/shoulder, she made me feel reluctant to call and ask for help. Referrals to other health care professionals were about the only help I got.

. I will never forget Dr. Douglas at NYU in the emergency room. She gave me my brain tumor diagnosis. She warmly touched my hand and explained what type it was and that it was not the worst. I was screaming and crying so much. Now, thinking back another doctor might have been cold and just said you have a brain tumor period.

It has been 3 months since my neck surgery. It was a very lengthy complicated surgery that involved many levels between C3 & C7. I am pain free and have regained the use of my right arm. I could go on to tell you all of the details, but I can sum it up in one sentence. If you truly need surgery on your spine there is only one office to call. She is truly amazing from every detail and her staff is always ready to help. Stamford Hospital was also tops when it came to my care.

I met Dr Douglas unwillingly. I had very bad sciatica(bulged disc) I got to the point where I could not stand and the pain left me stranded on the side of the road in my car. I was afraid of doctors and surgery, I believed I could heal myself with rest and heating pads looking back stupid move. My wife tired of hearing me yell out in pain arrange for an emergency surgery with Dr. Douglas. I had the surgery and was able to return home the same day pain FREE. I would tell anyone that needs the surgery to choose Dr. Douglas she explained the procedure in detail and made me feel very comfortable so much so that I has no anxiety the morning of. Thank you Dr. Douglas you made a bad time in my life so much easier!

Dr. Douglas has been the family neurosurgeon for several years. She is intelligent, competent, listens and explains all options.

Outstanding physician who takes the time to listen and evaluate your condition. I would not trust anyone other than Dr. Douglas to operate on my spine. Her outcomes are amazing and I'm so glad I was referred to her.
