Dr. Andrea Poirier Forgy, MD

Dr. Forgy was our doctor for my wife's recent unsuccessful high risk pregnancy. We asked about several things to increase the odds of a successful pregnancy including referral to the high risk pregnancy group, a work schedule modification, and an earlier delivery date so my wife could rest more before the birth. All were denied. We believe Dr. Forgy treated our pregnancy as a routine despite the high risk, which was discussed and charted. Unfortunately, our otherwise healthy son was stillborn at eight months due to a placental abruption. My wife almost died during the delivery. On top of this, Dr. Forgy waited four days after the death to check in on my wife. When we asked her to fill out paperwork for my wife's medical leave, she couldn't do it properly. When my wife went to her office to get the paperwork finished after several tries by email, she treated my wife coldly and rudely for interrupting her schedule. My wife is now no longer able to get pregnant. We deeply regret trusting… Dr. Forgy with our care. Our family, especially our son who desperately wanted a sibling, is heartbroken and forever scarred
