As a surgical PA in surgical oncology, my care philosophy begins with something simple – truly listening. Navigating a cancer diagnosis is one of the most profound challenges a person can face, and I am deeply committed to walking alongside patients at every step, from that first clinic conversation through surgery, recovery, and follow-up care. I believe that clear, effective communication is at the heart of everything we do and helps patients and their families truly understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and what to expect at every stage of their care journey, so that they can face each step with confidence and clarity. I work closely with our surgeons and collaborate with the full interdisciplinary care team – including Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, nurses, therapies, and support staff – to ensure that every patient receives thoughtful, seamless, coordinated care where nothing falls through the cracks. I am a passionate advocate for my patients, making …sure their voices are heard, their questions are answered, and that they never feel alone in the process. I also believe that genuine compassion, a warm smile, an honest conversation, and occasionally some well-timed humor can bring healing in its own unique way.
