Dr. Andrea Jo Rockland, MD

I would see the other doctors in this practice before Dr Rockland. She does not have a calm or caring bedside manner. In the 3-4 times I’ve seen her with my daughter she’s been off about the diagnosis. Also, she is NOT thorough at all. Compared to the others, I was shocked at how little she examined my daughter/ asked us any questions!

I am convinced that dr. rockland wrote these reviews herself because she is the opposite of patient and understanding. My daughter had a dead organ sitting in her for years that she called constipation. So much for those laxatives! Do not see this doctor unless you want to put your children at risk of organ failure.

It is rare to find a doctor like Dr. Andrea Rockland, someone who is “the entire package”-highly skilled, intelligent, attentive, patient, understanding, and kind. My three children have been patients of hers for 15 years, and we feel so fortunate to have her as our pediatrician. Not only has Dr. Rockland been an amazing doctor to my children, she has helped me be a better parent. During every situation (flu shots, stitches, mental health, vaccinations, viruses, and infections), Dr. Rockland patiently listened to all of our concerns and provided thoughtful and scientific feedback. We trust her medical guidance implicitly. She has the perfect balance of knowing when to suggest to see a specialist, or when to say it’s time to drink plenty of fluids and get some rest. During a year of chronic illness for one of my kids, Dr. Rockland was relentless in identifying the underlying issue. Her follow up with us, as well as her communication with the other specialist doctors treating my child,… was so reassuring during this difficult time. Dr. Rockland is an amazing doctor and a lovely person. She has our highest recommendation!

As a dad of two daughters who have been going to Dr. Rockland for years, I can say without reservation that she is an amazing pediatrician. She is smart and caring and makes herself available whenever we need something. My kids also adore her. Her practice also always finds emergency appointments whenever we need them, sometimes on very short notice.

I can not say enough positive things about Dr. Rockland. She’s an incredible physician and a genuinely caring person. My kids have gone to her for over four years and she’s helped us navigate both the basic childhood medical stuff as well as a highly complicated health issue (and everywhere in between). Throughout everything she has been a team player - working with other specialists as needed- and understanding of the needs of my kids and the whole family. She is the best!

Dr. Rockland has been treating both of my children since birth. I remember meeting her when my daughter was 4 days old and immediately knowing she would be our child's doctor. As a scared, 20-something year old new parent she made us feel safe and reassured, she treated us and our child like her own. She now treats both of our children and I seriously cannot recommend her enough; it isn't often you find doctors that actually care and seem personally invested in their patients, so much so that my 8 year asks when we're going to go see Dr. Rockland like it's a friend she's excited to see. She is incredible at what she does and I could not be happier with her service.

Dr. Rockland has been our primary doctor for my two daughters for most of their lives and are now 18 and 22. She is an extraordinary pediatrician and our daughters have had their fair share of complex medical situations over the years. She always provided accurate advice, diagnosis and directed us to the best specialists as needed. Dr. Rockland was always there for our daughters when they were experiencing personal challenges and going above and beyond to be supportive and provide guidance that without a doubt helped our daughters grow as individuals. I think the greatest complement of all was when my soon to be 23-year-old daughter said I never want to leave Dr. Rockland she’s the best doctor ever !
