Dr. Andrea Mariani, MD

I had the most traumatic experience with dr Mariani. I came to him with my endometriosis, after having a hysterectomy, and with severe PCOS cramping. He agreed to remove my ovaries then cancelled the night before after going through prep, because he couldn’t bear making me infertile after having a hysterectomy. When I went to the ER after this with severe pain I was given pain medication then separated from my mother when she took a call and put in the psych ward because I wanted this surgery and couldn’t be in my right mind to be willing to do this to end my pain.

Dr Mariani is professional, accomplished, explains options, really listens to his patients. He is very very thorough and that serves his patients well. He is the model of what medical care should be. I am fortunate to have had him as my doctor.

Dr Mariani is an expert in his field. He is a kind person and that guides his humanistic bed side manner. He takes the time to explain complex medical situations in ways patients can understand. He listens to his patients concerns and explains alternatived. I couldn't have found a better surgeon. He is a gift to his patients.

As a person that has never faced any sort of healthcare issues, I would highly recommend Dr. Mariani and his team. He took what was a potentially overwhelming situation for me and broke it down giving me several options. I never felt rushed but rather a tremendous sense of calm. Had laparoscopic surgery with Dr Mariani one week ago, and it went extremely well. My recovery is going well, outcome looks to be excellent, incisions performed well and thoughtfully. My primary nod to Dr Mariani is with his excellent, reassuring, and empathetic bedside manner. I would do surgery with him again in a heartbeat--not that I would want to do surgery again! He's a kind, confident surgeon.

I was very happy with Dr. Mariani's service. He was quite competent and listened to what I had to say, giving me feedback from both a medical and human standpoint. Fantastic physician and overall great guy.

Horrible bedside manner, ignores patients wishes and statements, treats patients as if they know nothing, brings personal life into appointment choices, schedules surgery but cancels the day before
