Dr. Andrea Petronella Metkus, MD

Due to procedure done by Dr Metkus im experiencing distress and as the result of her incompetent after care, I've been spending thousand of dollars out of pocket and trying to heal for over 6 months. Horrible experience

I just passed my 3rd mammogram after Dr. Metukus removed my right breast cancer via lumpectomy. I was 88 years old and had given up having mammograms around 10 years before. I had a mastectomy of my left breast in 1985 - at that time lumpectomies were new and my then surgeon and I decided a mastectomy was more reliable. Although I ended up not having to have chemo or radiation after that surgery, it would have been perfect for a lumpectomy and I would have avoided a great deal of pain. I am still having mammograms since the lumpectomy of an early detected cancer, in my opinion, is a piece of cake. I survived the 6 weeks of radiation and am still cancer free, thanks to Dr. Metkus. I highly recommend her. I just passed my 91st Birthday.

Dr. Metkus is an excellent surgeon. Furthermore, she took the time to thoroughly explain all options to me clearly and concisely. She listens closely and answers questions completely. She also follows up on her patients. I could not have been more pleased with her.
