Dr. Andrea L. Neimann, MD

Cancelled my appointment that had been on the books for months and months. Surprise! The next avail appt is 3.5 months AFTER my cancelled appt date. This is the 2nd year this happened to me. They don't even call you. They send a message in my chart saying "we've been trying to contact you" which is a lie. No call or messages or texts. And they do not allow reply or direct messages via my chart. This dermatology practice is shameful.

Scheduled an appointment 6 months in advance to see this practitioner. A few weeks before my appointment, I was called and told the doctor would be on vacation and my appointment needed to be rescheduled. The time slot offered to me was an additional 6 months away. Making my total wait to see this doctor 1 year. I refused this as being ridiculous and was offered an appointment an additional 3 months out instead. Making my total wait time to see this practitioner 9 months. I declined. I will leave it up to you decide for yourself the questionable ethics involved.

Ive never experienced such a lack of professionalism from any physician or any professional for that matter. I drove over an hour and a half to get into Manhattan to see Dr. Neimann and found out as I was a block away from her office that my appointment was cancelled. No one had bothered to phone me but apparently they had sent me a message in MyChart. They rescheduled my appointment for this afternoon and I was halfway there - meaning 40 minutes in the car - when they called me to cancel once again. I asked them to have Dr. Neimann call me and they said it’s unlikely but they will “leave a message for her in MyChart”. Needless to say, I’m irate.

Thorough, caring, knowledgeable - After five other highly recommended dermatologists failed to help me, Dr. Niemann succeeded. She couldn't be better!

My first visit to a dermatologist. Dr. Neimann was amazing, friendly,informative, removed three items two by freezing one with scalpel, quick and painless. I left visit relieved and inspired to return for future checks and if need be treatments.Bravo!

I had squamous cell carcinoma (skin cancer) growing on my face. I went to Dr Neiman numerous times about it and she never diagnosed it accurately. She’d give me lotion to put on it like it was dry skin. Once she asked me what I thought we should do. Her attitude was just come back in 3 months if it doesn’t work and we’ll try another random treatment. After I switched doctors and it was accurately diagnosed, I googled SCC and the images looked exactly like wha it had on my face. How she couldn’t recognize it, I canno understand. By the time I got surgery to have it removed, it had grown so much that I have a four inch scar on my face. Previously, she literally took seconds to give full-body scans for skin cancer. I thought she hadn’t even started yet, and she said she was done. When I challenged her on it she said with experience she can spot things quickly. I found that pretty ironic when I had persistent and growing cancer on my face that she couldn’t identity.
