Dr. Andrea N Nicholson

Andrea N. Nicholson, D.O., is a pediatrician with Norton Children’s Medical Group – Novak Center. She earned her medical degree from Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Campbell County, Virginia. She completed her pediatrics residency at University of Louisville Hospital, and a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Nicholson provides comprehensive care to children from infancy through young adulthood, up to age 21. Her services include well-child checkups, sports physicals, developmental monitoring, and the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric illnesses.

Her philosophy of care is centered on delivering compassionate, evidence-based health care to all children, regardless of their background or circumstances. She values building strong partnerships with families and empowering parents and caregivers to make informed decisions about their child’s health. Dr. Nicholson also is an advocate for underserved …and vulnerable communities, ensuring all children receive the attention and care they deserve.

Outside of work, Dr. Nicholson enjoys spending time with her family, playing the flute, visiting art museums, writing poetry, traveling, playing video games and attending live music events.
