Dr. Andrea Resciniti, MD

Where’s the hospital administrator on feral rescue cats crawling all over Dr. Resciniti’s desk and office?? What if I’m allergic or am scratched? Does she then go into a sterile exam room with cat hair on her? She’s rude at times and supercilious with a condescending tone. She is probably a good surgeon, but sending me a postcard reminder is cheap and not forwarded by the post office. I needed a 6 month biopsy, and that was the final reason why I switched breast surgeons!

I see some of the comments and dont know where any negativity is coming from..maybe they had a bad experience and blame this doctor..well..this doctor prob saved my moms life and/or made her life so much better! My mom, now over 20 I think years ago..was highly recom to see Dr. Resciniti..to make it short..mom had kidney stones/pain so bad..for years..years!!! Dr. Resciniti examined her..and found something on her thyroid..which she removed and mom never has had a kidney stone again..this Dr. is brilliant to say the least..who would have thought this lump on her thyroid (again not using correct terms for lump) but you understand..other doctors ask to be a patient of hers if they need help...if she cant be happy go lucky all the time with you its because think about it..the responsibilities she has are overwhelming..beyond us the average persons day..I would rather she be serious than a goof...she is smart and will help all who becomes her patients..my mom and dad always said her… bedside manner helped my mom thru the ordeal..not to mention the fact that you can barely see if any..barely see the scar on her neck..she is talented beyond belief...so having a problem..go see her! So glad my mom did..my mom is too!!

She took care of my breast surgery, so I felt I was in good hands, but..when I went to meet her, never looked up, nose in file.. talked fast, mumbled, no bedside manner, had to correct her on which breast, she had it wrong, just before surgery;never came back after, took a week for a reading, post op visit didn't really explain, mumbled, not impressive, but good surgeon. Her staff is lovely, warm, and kind

Dr. Resciniti took charge of my breast cancer, coordinated my care including scheduling tests, finding an oncologist and plastic surgeon. She was thorough to the point of calling the biopsy team to instruct them as to how she wanted the needle positioned, while I was in there! They said it would not be surprising if she showed up to direct the procedure personally. She is well-respected in the hospital. As others have noted, she followed up with me for an extended period of time after the surgery. I'm still here, 9 years following removal of a bi-focal, aggressive stage 3 tumor with lymph node involvement.

While I think that Dr. Resciniti is a decent surgeon, she has absolutely 0 bedside manners. I am switching doctors because of this.

Went in to get checked for a hernia. Operation went without a hitch and I'm healing fast! As awesome as that is she noticed low red blood cell count and blood in the stool. Next thing you know I'm getting pre-cancerous polyps removed. Scary stuff. I'm so thankful to have worked with her

Dr. Resciniti is an extremely talented surgeon and a caring person. She clearly explained the medical options available to me after a challenging diagnosis. Her office team coordinated my care with exceptional efficiency, professionalism and kindness. Twice Dr. Resciniti took the time out of her schedule to advocate for me when I encountered minor obstacles with medical systems (i.e. an external pharmacy). She was available for me at all hours and repeated explanations when I did not fully understand the process. I highly recommend Dr. Resciniti and give her and her staff 5 stars!

Dr. Resciniti is not only a fine surgeon, but I have never had a doctor who paid such great attention to every detail of my care. Dr. Resciniti did my mastectomy at Emerson Hospital. As anyone who has ever had cancer can attest, the journey to wellness includes many specialists. Dr. Resciniti coordinated my care with the plastic surgeon and with others, and continues to provide follow up even 18 months out. I cannot say enough about her skill as a surgeon and as a doctor with great compassion as well as knowledge. Her office runs like clock work. I never had to worry about referrals and I was always seen on time. One note: Dr. Resciniti has a tendency to speak fast. She is happy to slow down when asked, but tape your meetings to review later. This is not a big deal, however, as this practice is one all cancer patients should follow with all their doctors.

Dr. does not spend time to diagnosis patient properly. In my case, she didn't make right calls.

She is not very professional. She has a cat in her office and when I was talking to her, the cat was sitting on the desk. I could see cat hair on her sweater during my office visits. Once she did a procedure in her office for me and she was wearing her sweater. She did a procedure on me and that day I did not see her after the surgery. Later I had terrible complications after the surgery. During the follow up visits, she made wrong decisions again which led to my inflammation.
