Dr. Andrea Marie Russo, DO

Dr. Russo is one of the finest physicians I have ever met. She is smart, dedicated to her patients' good health, and an expert in her field. Her staff and patients love her. She is kind and caring. I am highly satisfied with my care by her for afib issues. It may be difficult to schedule an appointment as quickly as one would like as a new patient, but that is because she is in such high demand!

Dr. Russo refused to inform me of a recall on one of the leads in my pacemaker. In doing so she caused me to pass out in Presbyterian hospital. In the eventual surgery that followed to replace the lead I asked her if she was going to do the operation. Instead without my knowledge or permission she turned me over to another doctor who let a student in training perform the surgery. In the following days Dr. Russo refused to see me in my hospital bed. I had gone to her office in the hospital for a visit after the surgery and when I asked her why all of the switching and refusal to see me she walked out of the office without a word. If you want a good doctor who is interested in your well being, this is not the one.
