Have been a patient of Dr. Schaffner for 35 plus years and she is a great practioner

Dr. Schaffner cared for my mother during the last five years of her life. You could not find a more compassionate physician. She is a gift to her patients.

Dr. Schaffner is a highly trained, excellent Primary Care Physician. Her examinations are thorough and complete. She is an excellent communicator and will not finish her visit with you until all of your questions are answered and she is assured you understand what she has told you. She does NOT prescribe unnecessary tests. She effectively saved my life by scheduling me for a nuclear stress test which uncovered a serious blockage in my heart. She willingly coordinates my treatment by specialists other than herself.

I have none Dr. Schaffner both professionally working with her and as her patient for the past 20 some odd years. She has always been very present during office visits and highly accurate in her diagnosing. I would continue to and have highly recommended her to many people over the years.

dr schaffner is always there for me and has always taken time to here what is wrong with me at appointments she prescribes what is needed to help me and if that does not work she will try something else. i have had her for about 25 years and will hate to have to get a new doctor when she retires i hope that will never hapen but she hss to retire someday hope not for a long time

I've seen Dr. Schaffner 3 times. The first time she ordered a series of expensive and time-consuming cardiac tests and then never got back to me with the results. When I finally called a few weeks later, she said "Oh, I guess we never got those back from the lab." It didn't inspire much confidence. I found the same lack of follow-through each time I went: no one ever called me with the results of lab tests, and they never scheduled or suggested next appointments. Dr. Schaffner's manner during my visits was polite but aloof, even disinterested. I'm looking for another primary care physician.

She has attended my 85+ year old mother, and she is really terrific particularly withgeriatric patients. My husband is a Vascular and General surgeon and without reservation recommends her very highly for her intelligent practise of medicine. She has been my physician for the past 14 years, and one could not have a more competent physician.

Very professional and concerned

This is a very arrogant, nasty, disrespectful ugly woman. She has no bedside manner, except that which she picked up at the bargain basement of the Salvation Army. You are not listened to and dismissed. I was sent home with a wrong dosage of medicine, which caused a hospitalization that would probably never have happened had the right dosage been prescribed, and I was called stupid by her, and totally insulted by her. Her reputation preceeded her with anyone that I spoke with either professional or former patient, all by word of mouth.
