Started off that my home health nurse stated she'd called MANY times & they'd never return her call. My picc line wasn't working for awhile. I went in to see the nurse who unclogged my line & stated she was calling my home nurse to address the issue because she said she never called. Never told her about my line. Plus the nurse tried pulling my picc line out some to see if itd work. I go in for an appointment weeks later and the dr was never told about the issues with my line. The next thing I know that nurse ( heavy set, very short white hair, comes in raising her voice and trying hard to get me to argue with her! I've never been treated or talked to like this! She acted like she didn't know me and said I'd never talked to her about my line not working! She seen me & fixed it! She called me a liar and I was so confused about what was going on. I said no one will talk to me like that and I got up to leave. She acted like she was going to grab me. Then said they'd decided to stop… treatment and remove my picc line. The dr had just said 4 more weeks of IV antibiotics. Oh and I've had to force myself thru walking in pain because I'm in a wheelchair with one arm and they wouldn't let my caregiver help me inside. Today a guy in a wheelchair had someone helping him. But what do I know? They're the "professionals" and I'm the liar. I've seriously never dealt with drama and unprofessional behavior like this before. I'm still in shock

She was such a compassionate provider during my grandpa was hospitalization.

Dr. Scott is the first person in my life who ever in my 64 years of life found out what was wrong with me. I have suffered my entire life with chronic infections and no one I have ever seen in any of the cities I have lived has been able to figure out what was wrong with me. My life has been miserable. She ran the appropriate labs and they all came back confirming what she thought was wrong with me. She listened to me and I felt a great sense of compassion that she had for me. The blood tests she ran pointed to a deficiency of IgG which was responsible for all my lifelong chronic infections. She was then able to get me in touch with an immunologist who would become the one who would treat me for my Common Variable Immune Deficiency - (CVID). I OWE HAVING ANY HOPE FOR A FUTURE WITH A QUALITY OF LIFE TO DR. ANDREA SCOTT. I am so grateful that I was referred to her. I thank God for all she, Dr. Andrea Scott has done for me.
