Dr. Andrea Michelle Tom, MD

I work in radiology and she is my primary care physician as I am a diabetic with a few other issues. I was surprised to see these bad reviews. I see here when I can and she is understanding of my job. I find her friendly and polite. She is always smiling. The only reason that I can see people not liking her as she will hold you accountable for your actions. Being accountable for what I eat and when I eat, I have been able to get off one of my meds that I was on because of her. I was seeing another doctor at PAMF and I moved to the central valley (Merced) and still come here for my care. I was glad when Dr. Tom look me as a patient about 4-5 years ago. Good doctors are hard to find.

I have a rather difficult case of Grave's. Dr Tom explained all the potions and was understanding when I wanted to try conservative treatment first. She treats me like a human rather than just my blood results.

Dr Tom has been treating me for about 5 years. She helped me to treat an aggressive pituitary adenoma, and has also been monitoring me post transphenoidal surgery. She is very approachable and always very good at listening to my concerns and following up with needed treatment. I would recommend her for her knowledge, thoroughness, and great bedside manner.

Dr Tom is a horrible and mean Doctor . She makes false stories and refuses care if you don't meet her every few months . She's inconsiderate and not ready to hear patient view or discuss . She should be fired and disbarred fir inappropriate behavior
