Dr. Andrea K Weed

I have been a patient of Dr. Weed for several years. She provides great medical care and demonstrates concern along with a "tell it like it is" approach to motivate patients to be compliant to treatment plans. She is very knowledgeable and good about answering questions and explaining diagnoses. She keeps up with the latest reports regarding medications and treatment options and analyzes the risk factors. She makes her decisions based on what she believes is in the best interest of the individual patient. I highly recommend Dr. Weed without hesitation.

Misdiagnosed cancer as a "fatty cyst" did not do a medical history which would have indicated prior renal cancer, lack of proper medical tests to indicate if it was cancer. Carson City surgeon went ahead and cut into cancerous tumor on the shoulder and ended up sending him to Davis Univ. and then neglected after repeated calls to send the doctors at Davis all the tests and information. After numerous calls that were ignored all the tests had to be repeated. By the cutting into the tumor the cancer was "seeded" and spread...right shoulder blade was removed after more surgeries to cut out cancerous spots his time is limited to a few months.

Dr Weed is the best. She asks good questions and really listens to what you have to say. The two of you work together to see that you get healthy and stay there. Lots of my friends also go to her and we all love the way she practices medicine.

Dr. Weed looks at the whole person in considering your treatment. No stone unturned including why you are where you are in your health. She is the best, professional, kind but get you on the road to good health.
