Dr. Andrea Lee Wolff, MD

I was at mercy gilbert because my heart rate went up. A medical student came and wanted to evaluate me first. I told her I am sorry, but I am really very nervous and if it is ok with her I would like to be seen only by the doctor. She left. A few minutes later Dr wolff came back with the student and two other people with notebooks in their hands. She told me in a very firm and aggressive tone: this is a student hospital and students can evaluate you and she told the student go ahead and evaluate him. I told her, I feel very nervous already and my heart rate is high and it went even higher after she did that. She kept repeating the same thing and almost yelling at me. I told her I refuse that. She got more upset and sent the student out and came close to me and said I am the doctor now so tell me what is your problem in a very hostile way that made me very uncomfortable and my heart rate went even higher. I told her I don't trust you anymore and I don't want to be treated by you. I had… to repeat this many times before she finally left me alone. She did not help my condition she made it worse at that moment. What a terrible doctor. I still cannot believe this happened.

I went to the ER because my daughter had a high fever. When I entered the area she was the first one to look at my daughter. She was very rude and condescending to both me and my mother in law who was with me. She was very mean about the fact that my mother in law had not given her any pain reliever when she was watching her. She acted like I was a bad mother. When she asked if anyone in my house smoked I said yes my husband does outside. She then told me to make him quit or to leave him which I found very rude and judgemental, she had no place to say that. Overall my experience with her was horrible and she made me very angry.

I have worked in the emergency room setting and have seen dr. Wolf's bedside manner. It is horrible. I know hundreds of MD's and she is the worst. I would avoid going to any hospital she works at for the sake of my own health. I would never let her assess or treat any of my family members. when a dr or any medical professional makes you try to feel as if it is a privilege for you to be seen by them and that you aren't worth more than a second of there time, there is something wrong. worst Dr. In existence.

Dr. Wolff is a great doctor.

She has the worst bedside manner. She is soooo caring that you will have to wait for her to stop watching the football game in order to give you the test results. Don't go for a sinus infection, she will refuse to treat you.
