Dr. Andrea Yang, I highly recommend her as a cardiologist; she is very approachable, knowledgeable, patient, timely, thorough, and explains all questions carefully, that are easy to understand. She takes all the time needed without acting rushed.

Dr.Yang is always willing to answer any questions and takes her time with you. She was spot on with my treatment and even helped me recover from a serious heart problem. I would highly recommend her.

My mother was very ill with a serious, and rare, type of pneumonia. Additionally, her primary GP was concerned w/an unusual murmur-like sound in her heartbeat. Mom was sent to see Dr. Yang, the following day. I took, & accompanied, her as I observed she getting very ill and weak. Dr. Yang did make sure she scheduled an echocardiogram the same day. HOWEVER Dr. Yang made sure she expressed, to both of us, an extremely dismissive opinion of a possible heart condition from a mere "murmur." When I told her that I felt Mom was VERY ill and weak, the weakest I'd ever seen her, she was again dismissive. I requested she admit Mom to the hospital and she refused. Dr. Yang said it was not her job, it was Mom's GP's job, curtly dismissed us from the exam room and went on to do other things. I was polite and respectful, but her responses to me were curt and she made certain she "talked down" to me. (I am well educated & have a strong work ethic, in a different career field.) Later that evening,… Mom was so weak she fell, hitting her head and back. The injuries/bleeding were so severe, I had to call 911. I had the responders send her to a hospital Dr. Yang was not associated with and Mom was admitted to that hospital. Dr. Yang WAS correct about the heart murmur...there was no problem found in her heart test. That's the only good thing I have to say about her. Thankfully, Mom recovered from her pneumonia & the serious head/back injury from her fall.
