Dr Tzakis saved my life against all odds. At the age of 41 I was dignosed with Budd Chiari. Dr Tzakis and his team gave me a new liver and a new life. Until today I am in his care and no words or deeds can show my infinite gratitude to him and his team. He is just THE BEST and I feel lucky and blessed to be in his care.

Clearly one of The Best transplant surgeons in america . Thanks full for how he helped my family. He did what no Other Doctor would. He was amazing through the whole experience and Years after the Transplant remained intricately involved . So thankful for his care . I will go to no one else but him again if your family had to go through another transplant .

You were there for me when my life was rapidly ebbing away. I was lucky to be the recipient of an excellent liver made available because of an unfortunate incident. This liver replaced the one that had served me well for over 60 years ... and thanks to the teamwork of all staff in the Liver Transplant Department at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston which saw me through the transplant , I am able to write this "review" today. Dr Tzakis saved my life when I needed a Hepto-Billiary specialist to remove my bile duct after gangrene gall bladder removal, His bed side manner, promptness, skill was like God. (There is no Hepto-billiary speciqlist in Palm Beach County Florida)

We had to wait for very long time to see him, the appoitment was changed multiple times, We were given wrong promises, liver transplant was postponed without reason because of him

It has been six months since my personal miracle, involving Dr. Tzakis, Dr. Moon, Dr. Hodgins (sic), Dr. Island and others I'm unable to recall. I'm one of the lucky ones. I didn't die before a liver became available. Thanks to my donor and my surgical team I'm alive, and doing rather well, I might add. My surgery took 5.5 hours...some sort of record, I think...I don't recall much; I was asleep!The humor is my way of dealing with the emotional side of the miracle. The entire experience is so humbling. I am so thankful for these brave heroes. You see, I am alive, and high on life...because of the donor and the doctors.By the way, I am becoming known as, "Y.O.D.A."...Your Organ Donor Advocate.
