Dr. Lerner told us this was a difficult case and walked us through everything for the surgery. He has real knowledge and skill and compassion for a great surgical outcome .

I had a CMC Arthroplasty by Dr. Lerner and two weeks later was back in the operating room when the $20,000 implant (used to replace the missing cartilage) had (per the operative report) "extruded out of the joint". I took two weeks of persuading him that something was wrong before he would take me back to the o.r. Three years later I have a subluxated thumb and more pain than before he did surgery on me. Now I have no other option but to go through the same extremely painful procedure again to fix what he didn't do correctly the first or second time! The only bright side to this story is my insurance denied payment for his charges and the 20k implant so all it cost me was a deformity needing correction and years of joint pain following his treatment. Steer clear!

I had cysts in both wrists that had been there for over 10 years and displaced the tendons and caused a lot of pain for a very long time. Dr. Lerner was very professional in diagnosing the issue and thoroughly explaining it and how he would like to fix it. After the surgery which included removing pieces of bone I had very little pain or soreness. After healing my wrist pain is still gone 5 years later. I would highly recommend Dr. Lerner if you have chronic wrist or hand pain, he's a great guy and a fantastic surgeon.

He was very through in explaining my injuries, going over my Xrays and ultrasound in great detail, and gave me several treatment options. A somewhat rare, but very much appreciated experience.

Dr. Lerner is INCREDIBLE. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. He not only go over my MRI with me and explain what is going on with my wrist, he personally took me to the X-ray room and took X-ray of my wrist while explaining what it is going on. He also did an ultrasound on the wrist. The total time I spent there was 3 hours. Before him I went to four different orthopedic but nobody has spent the time like he did and go explain thorough as he did. He diagnosed my problem by listen to me first before reviewing the MRI, he knew what wrong with my wrist the first minute we talked. Thank you for having such a great doctor. There's no one else like Dr. Lerner.

Exceptional Doctor with the Brown Hand Center. I had an accident and severed the flexor tendons, artery, and nerves. I did not know a hand specialist but had heard about the Brown Hand Center. It was an emergency situation in which surgery needed to be done to repair the finger or I risked losing it. We called the Brown Hand Center, they asked how soon we could get there and Dr. Andres Lerner saw me at noon, and operated on me at 4 pm that same day. He most definitely was my hero as he saved my finger and was totally persistent in getting me to a hospital that supplied the microscopic tools he used for the surgery. I felt so blessed to have been sent to him. Due to his surgical expertise, follow-up observations and placing me with a good hand OT, I have complete recovery of my finger. I cannot say enough about Dr. Lerners skills, patient care, and going the extra mile in saving my finger.

Finally a doctor at that it is worth waiting for.The office was beautiful and the staff very friendly and helpful.He spent more time with me than any other Dr. I have met before. He made drawings for me and my wife to understand my condition better. He was very friendly and personable and made me feel very comfortable putting myself in his hands. I had surgery a month ago and never had pain. I did great and I am very grateful. Recommend him highly!
