Went to him with discomfort from an esophageal stricture and told him how the prilosec is giving me muscle spasms after months of use. He tells me that it is very unlikely and rare that the spasms are from the prilosec and says that if it was from the Prilosec, the spasms would have come on right away. Umm nutritional deficiencies don't magically happen right away from a medication, it takes months for the nutrients to eventually deplete, I am 100% sure it is from the Prilosec. I hate it when doctors try to make it seem like you as the patient who are experiencing the symptoms are wrong... We are the ones in our own bodies and feel what we feel, don't make it seem like its in my head!! I can't stand that!!! And then I tell him how my symptoms of esophagitis and esophageal stricture stemmed from taking those big centrum vitamins, in which he tells me that I should take a vitamin for my " nutritional deficiencies" from the Prilosec. Are you kidding me? Did you just listen to what I just… said to you? Thanks doc!! Terrible!!!!
