Dr. Andres Roomet, MD

Dr. R had his mind made up that I was crazy before he even saw me, and his badgering questions (he didn't wait for my reply) just proved his disinterest. He fairly snarled throughout the (thankfully) short apt where be barked questions at me impatiently. He never asked details pertaining to my predicament, just questions that would prove his theory that I was seeking attention. Given his narrow-mindedness I can't imagine he would be helpful for anyone.

After reading several concerning reviews about Dr. Roomet on the web, l had expected to encounter a grouchy man with little patience (no pun intended). Instead, this neurologist introduced himself and met me with a smile. I didn't feel rushed throughout my evaluation and we even engaged in some small talk during the process. Would l recommend a friend or loved one in need to see Dr. Roomet? Absolutely. He has a lifetime of experience in his field and appreciated the strong handshake on both ends of my appointment.

He was very unprofessional, unprepared and seemed to be all over the place with his words, diagnosis and plans. He got very upset and insulted when I questioned why he was doing certain things. He was offended and decided to transfer me to another clinic even though stating he was not convinced of my diagnosis. In a phone conversation he went on to insult me calling me difficult because I questioned why he had not ordered a test that I was told would be ordered and then went on to tell me I should get psychiatric help. I have never met a more unprofessional provider. It is truly unfortunate. As a patient we have the right to question our treatment. It is not professional for a provider to insult a patient.
