Dr. Andres Felipe Sciolla, MD

I was under Dr. Sciolla`s care for several years and highly recommend him. Extremely caring and very competant

I feel he doesn't listen to me well enough when it comes to my meds. I was on a regiment with 7 different meds but we wanted to decrease the number of meds I was taking. A few months later hemail puts me down to three meds. That was awesome, but my old meds were better. And they were non narcotic. My current scripts are a narcotic. The office staff and Dr sciolla never return my calls. Sometimes I have to just show up unannounced to get the help I need. I always feel like he is rushing me out the door. I've had to hospitalize myself to get what I need because I never get responses.

Dr. Sciolla is very courteous and professional. He is always quite considerate and kind. He exhibits extreme intelligence and care. When they changed doctors on me I made sure I was able to get back with Dr. Sciolla.

I am so happy I finally found a psiq that was able to listen to me and to finally offer an explanation to my problem. He is not a pill pusher and after more than 5 years of treatment with different doctors I can finally see an end to these bad times.thank you dr. sciolla

Dr. Scioola is unlike any other of the Psychiatrists at UCSD in that he seems more interested in listening to himself than to me. He was 60 minutes and 55 minutes late each of my last two appointments. He was arrogant during his fabricated explanation for being so late each time. I have moved through the UCSD free community mental health program and now have a job with insurance. I am very disappointed about my attempts to build a helpful and mutually beneficial relationship with a new psychiatrist. I am very much in need of a psychiatrist and hope I can find one soon.
