Andrew Robert Adesman, MD

My son has seen dr Adesman regularly over the past five years. We could not ask for a better doctor.

As a professional myself, I found this doctor extremely rude and condescending. He called my daughter “clueless “ in front of her son. He wouldn’t listen when I was trying to give him information; he kept interrupting. Judgemental and full of himself.

My son has been a patient at Schneider's Childrens hospital- Development and Behavior- for over 10 years. His regular doctor was not available and we had to see Dr. Adesman. He was extremely rude, questioned things that had nothing to do with our appointment and told me it was upsetting that I wasn't present as my mother (my sons grandmother) takes him to his appointments being I am a single parent and it is very hard for me to take off. I will never ever go back to this obnoxious judgmental doctor. I'm hoping to find a way to report him to the board.

Dr. Adesman has treated my child since he was 4, and he is now 12, My son had ADHD and ODD. Dr. Adesman is a wonderful, warm, caring human being and he is NOT quick to prescribe medications or toss around diagnoses. Under his care, my son is slowly but steadily improving and we are confident that while his childhood may have been stormy, and his teenage years are likely to be as well, our son is going to blossom into an awesome adult who truly lives up to his potential!

I have 2 children with ADD/ADHD. Both were seen - not rushed into medicine. Both children responded very well. Found Dr. to be interested in children & able to make them feel at ease.

Dr. Adesman needs to work on his bedside manner. He is full of himself and did not really evaluate my child. He asked me to bring in old test scores from when my child was in preschool and said the only thing consistent about him is that he is consistently in the 1 percentile. He also said previous testing does not indicate any strengths. Dr. Adesman did not even test my child.

I was referred to this doctor through our pediatrician. It is very annoying to have to leave a message just to wait for a call back to make an appointment.

Dr. Adesman,Is so amazing with my daughter. He spends a great deal of time with each patient. It is worth the wait for the initial visit.
