Dr. Andrew Louis Archer, DO

I am giving two stars because they did manage to move up my surgery before the insurance I had at the time ran out. That is the only positive thing I have to say. The postoperative care has been the worst experience I’ve had with any medical professional. I have had postoperative issues that while not extreme have limited me resuming full normal activity. The postoperative notes from those visits have been missing or inaccurately depicting what I have said I was experiencing. I am not that patient who thinks they are more of a medical expert than the doctor, but I do know what I am feeling, and I can see with my own eyes when there is swelling present. Furthermore, when I did contact them when the issues did not go away and became worse as I was instructed to do with the initial follow. They wanted to simply send me for more test without even seeing me first. I had to force them to do so. No one ever contacted me about the results from the test until I reached out to the office… and then it was still more than a week later before anyone called back and then only to set up an appointment where they wanted to discuss something completely unrelated that came up during the test.

Dr Archer was my general surgeon when I had to have a double mastectomy. He is a great doctor, easy to talk to and makes you feel at easy about the whole procedure. I would recommend him to everyone around this area. He has become our family surgeon. My sister also had to have a double mastectomy and was operated by Dr. Archer.

The office staff made an error in a test that required an additional visit that I was originally told I would not need then that I would not be charged for. They are charging me anyway. When calling about the charge, office staff misrepresented themselves on the phone, giving me a wrong name.

I really like Doctor Acher he is a docotor who is intrested in you not just an other number.
