Andrew Arcuri, DDS, MS, attended SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude. In addition to earning many awards for his technical skills in dentistry, he was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, which recognizes superior academic achievements during dental school.
Dr. Arcuri completed his orthodontic specialty training at Temple University, one of the top orthodontic training programs in the country. He also has earned a Masters in Oral Biology with his research entitled “The Role of the Eyes and Periorbital Facial Tissues on Smile Esthethics.”
Dr. Arcuri has been trained in the very latest orthodontic treatment methods and has experience with both microscrew implants and Invisalign technologies. He is certified in Invisalign, which is a method of straightening teeth without braces. This system uses clear plastic molds that fit snugly over the teeth, so no metal shows and patients …remove the trays to eat and brush. Dr. Arcuri is treating many of our pediatric orthodontic patients as well as adults looking for orthodontics. His diverse background allows our office to offer customized treatment for each patient at any age.
Dr. Arcuri is an active member in many professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists (NESO), the American Dental Association (ADA), the NYS Dental Association (NYSDA), the Fifth District and Onondaga Dental Societies. Dr. Arcuri attained his orthodontic board certification from the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Arcuri and his wife, Gina, both grew up in Utica, NY. Gina started a Personalized Stationery business - G.Notes (www.gnotesonline.com). She creates customized stationery notecards, announcements, invitations, and matching envelopes. Dr. Arcuri and Gina are proud parents of a girl and boy. They enjoy spending leisure time with the family and golfing many courses in upstate New York.
