The only thing Pleasant was the receptionist the nurse of 38 years going to ask me what am I here for I told her I'm in pain her comment was we don't do pain pillsspoken with attitude, she takes my blood pressure twice I ask her what's my blood pressure 142 over 92 she neglected to document . the doctor came in he wanted to know what the blood pressure was he was asking her she didn't know she says oh I don't know let me take it then they say the doctor says oh it's 127 over 70 something st said,it'good I just wish this app would allow me to post a couple photographs that I was able to take. oh well talking to the doctor the man failed to keep eye contact I confronted him on this he says that's the way he is,he asked me a question and answered himself I personally wouldn't waste my time or money ever to go back to see that fine board-certified doctor good luck on your experience,very unprofessional experience

My mother has been going to Athens clinic for over 30 years, first seeing the Dr. Athens Sr, then his son. She is now 80 yrs old. She has a PPO and Medicare. AFIB was recently discovered during an eye procedure and they told her to follow up with Dr. Andy. She did and he was mad that the eye Dr. and cardiac Dr. weren't with the Beaumont system. He wanted her to drop all her other doctors and only see his preferred doctors, when she refused, he told her he didn't want her as a patient any longer. She was so upset... His treatment of his long term patient is nothing short of abdominal.

Dr. Athens is the most compassionate physician I have ever known.
