Dr. Bain received his MD degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, Washington, DC. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia, followed by a Gastroenterology Fellowship and Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Bain was most recently at the rank of Assistant Professor at State University of New York, Buffalo, and Associate Professor at the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, Buffalo, where he also served as the Chief of Gastroenterology.Dr. Bain's clinical interests include using advanced endoscopic techniques to diagnose, stage, treat, and palliate cancer patients. Additional clinical interests include the use of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic, ultrasound, ERCP, endoscopic mucosal resection, ablation of Barrett's esophagus, and enteral stenting. His research focuses on novel ways to use therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound to treat cancer patients.

I was about to go on a cruise, Dr. Bain review my quest results he requested to come back to emergency room to find out that my kidneys Did not function properly because of the salt level she said in my life he’s like an angel who’s watching over you

Dr Bain and his Endoscopy team are the greatest people from start to finish , i have never been so comfortable in having my scoping and biopsies performed by them . how can i say i never once would think of going anywhere else . greatest crew ever and i cant thank them enough .

Dr Bain is an excellent Dr , I have had the pleasure of being a patient of his for years. He is compassionate, generous with his time , comprehensive - He is a skilled experienced diagnostician and surgeon. I would recommend him and his staff very highly.

Dr. Bain is an exceptional person and an exceptional physician. He's a good listener and an empathic care-giver. All of my interactions with him over the past 10 years have been entirely positive. He has always been willing to answer all my questions and patiently guide my choices in managing my medical condition. A very nice person.
