I was born and raised in Brookfield, WI. I have 3 children and 2 stepchildren. My wife and I enjoy travel, hiking and biking. Among our favorite vacations was a trip to the Canadian Rockies. Golf and woodworking are interests of mine, but what I enjoy most is time with my family.My goal is to understand the unique visual needs of each patient. To do this, I like to learn about a patient's work, hobbies and interests. I believe that effective communication is important and this starts with ensuring that I am a good listener.

This was my initial appointment with Dr. Baldus and it went very well. He was very professional in explaining the aspects of my eye care. He answered any questions I had and took time to make sure I understood his answers. It was a very good experience.

The staff in this area was excellent and the clinician was a pleasure to work with. As usual the scheduling for the appointment was a task. If making appointments on line is what is desired, then make the process thorough. I was told that I would be contacted by a representative to make the appointment. Two weeks later I finally had to call and be put on hold to await an available representative to explain why I am calling and set up my appointment time. The optometry staff was excellent!

Dr. Baldus is one of the best doctors that I have ever dealt with. He is very courteous and very nice. Hope he stays around for a while. Excellent doctor.
