Dr Barker doesn't listen, makes mistaken assumptions, runs with them instead of actually listening to patient, even when he asks patient for "input." Ego is a big problem.

Shows great empathy for his patients

Bedside manner is awful. My mother seen him and the last time I went with her and it was awful. Never had I seen a dr act to bad towards a patient a 82 hear old patient at that. He should not be in medicine if it makes him that unhappy.

This guy is prompt, listens to you and discusses all of your options. I’m so happy that I see him. And I can’t even imagine why he has any bad reviews. My guess is drug seeking patients. Thanks for all you do! Erin M.

Staff does not return phone calls. Doctor rarely makes eye contact & is only interested in procedures. Would NOT recommend this doctor or clinic!

Dr. Barker didn’t listen to me or bother to look at my medical records before seeing me. Moving patients in and out like cattle! My visit was a waste of time and money! Don’t waste yours unless you’re into water aerobics, apparently that’s the cure for all! Oh a prescribing meds that causes more damage than good! I would give 0 stars if that was possible! Just like he gives 0 f*cks about his patients.

I saw Dr. Barker for 2 years. I didn't want narcotics, which he does not prescribe, but he didn't suggest another useful modality. It was quite the waste. I have back and knee problems. Back was addressed, however, he didn't even order tests to diagnose the knee.

I honestly want to let everyone know that I enjoyed Dr Barker, The Man came in introduced himself,and explained to me what he was gonna be doing,I had gotten referred by Dr Khan to go see Dr Barker,and when I got online to read the reviews,I was flat out having anxiety,cuz of all the bad reviews,but I learned a valuable lesson today,and that is I can’t believe everything I read,So a big Kudo’s to Dr Barker,and his whole staff,I got to talking to his staff,and they all enjoy working for him,They all made me feel like family,and I will definitely recommend Dr Barker to anyone,We are both Ku Jayhawks Basketball fans,and both from Kansas ! I have an artificial disc which is painful at times. After (30) shots in my back in a month, some to burn the nerves, I hurt three times worse than I did and he won't give me pain meds to manage it. If you go to this guy, you should have your head examined. So now here I am, mostly bedfast and he doesn't care.
