Dr. Andrew R Bejarano, DO

Went to see this Dr. for insomnia. He stated that I needed to get a COLONOSCOPY before he would treat me for insomnia!! I am in excellent health, fit, thin with no other medical complaints. This is manipulation!! Would he ask a poor person with no insurance this?!?

Dr Bejarano is a great doctor. I have been going to him since 2015 which was not long after we moved here from Ky. I didn’t have the best doctor before so I had struggled for years with lots of things. I thought I was just crazy or a hypochondriac! My previous Dr didn’t listen to me at all. Dr Bejarano has never ever made me feel rushed or made me feel like he wasn’t listening to me the way some Drs do. As a matter of fact, I had been a “no show” the last three appointments I had made with Dr Bejarano for different reasons, including...my dad being very sick and I had to go to him in Ky, I had broken my phone another time and didn’t have the patient portal so I forgot my appt date and then we all had a stomach bug the last time I missed. Most Drs would be annoyed with someone for wasting their time. Many Drs will even discharge you over that and understandably so. However, today they got me right in, although, I was an hour late(pathetic I know). Dr Bejarano was super friendly when… he walked in the room. Always smiles and he’s funny. I despise arrogance from a doctor but I haven’t witnessed him being arrogant once. Knowledgeable, yes. Never arrogant. He sat and discussed my concerns with me for a long time! I’ve seen him so many times and only once do I recall him acting a little bit hurried and he was. He had an office full of people but he still took care of what I needed and that’s what counts in my opinion. Dr Bejarano has also scheduled me for any tests I’ve ever needed. He has also helped me tremendously through my Graves’ disease diagnosis! He has been a blessing! As a matter of fact, had I done what he asked me to do years ago, then he would have likely found my Graves’ disease much sooner but I didn’t follow through with my labs and appts back then either. So, because I didn’t do my part, my Graves wasn’t diagnosed until later on. My own fault. Thankfully, he knows all about thyroid issues and he has helped more than I can express. Graves’ disease is a nightmare if not treated correctly. Thankfully, Dr Bejarano is a good doctor and knows how to treat thyroid! He’s very thorough as well. He said something today about me having kidney stones in the past and I was surprised he even remembered because it was a few years ago when he discovered them. I could go on and on but I won’t. I’ll end with this...My husband sees Dr B too and he really likes him. The office works around my husbands extremely busy work schedule. The nurses are wonderful! I miss Rebecca but the new nurse is sweet too. The front office staff are always professional. The building is clean and in a convenient area for me. The women who draw labs are super. I can’t say enough good things about this place! I plan on suggesting to my 18 year old son that he should go here. I only want the best doctors for my kids.

This doctor missed a serious chronic disease my son developed. His lack of care cost us weeks of delayed treatment. If he had taken time to listen to his patient he may have made a critical diagnosis. I am not usually one to write reviews, but I do hope this helps someone who may be selecting a physician.

Tried to switch to another summit dr and bejarano sent me a certified letter discharging me. I saw him for years with no problems, but I never really liked him. He seemed very prideful.

Just simply didn't seem to know what he was talking about. Poor bedside manner.
