Dr. Andrew E Bluhm, MD

When I needed an implant I learned that it would take a fair amount of time and money and I wanted both to be well spent. I researched doctors to find the best one near me. I decided to use Dr. Andrew Bluhm even though it meant a two hour round trip each time I saw him. I was not sorry. Dr. Bluhm did an excellent job for me with no problems whatsoever. I highly recommend him to anyone needing an implant.

This doctor broke my jaw during molar extraction. He didn't tell me, I saw image of my jaw that it is now crooked and there is putty inside. He broke my jaw during molar extraction. He was to put in a tooth implant, but he said, during extraction that putting in an implant could cause nerve pain. I said I didn't want it then. Following surgery I was in a great deal of pain for about a week and a half and had to use a kitchen plastic trash bag filled with ice against my face. I should have known he broke my jaw because he drilled into my jawbone. He drilled for what seemed hours. Later, after trigeminal nerve damage, another doctor showed me the putty left inside of my jaw that he said was abutting to my trigeminal nerve. There was nothing that could be done except for another surgery and quite possibly worse outcome with full numbness. This doctor should have told me that he broke my jaw, but he didn't.
