Dr. Charni is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College. In Chiropractic College Dr. Charni was a member of Phi Chi Omega, the Chiropractic National Honor Society. He served as vice president of the Student International Chiropractors Association and attended the ICA's National Conference in Kansas City, MO as a member of the Student Leadership Council. In 1985 he was named an active member of the New York Academy of Sciences and was honored to be selected a member of Who's Who in Executives and Professionals in 1994.

Dr Charni joined Total Body Modification's teaching staff as an instructor in 1996. He has attended and presented original work at TBM's Research Conferences and Innovative Symposiums. Dr. Charni has been in private practice with his wife Dr. Sandra Fico since 1986. Together they have combined their knowledge and talents to create the integrated web of work known as Neuro-Somatic …Programming. We believe that NSP is the next leap forward in alternative and functional health care.

The University of Bridgeport: College of Chiropractic certified Dr. Charni in Manipulation Under Anesthesia. Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA) is a multidisciplinary manual therapy used to improve articular and soft tissue mobility using specifically controlled release, myofascial manipulation, and mobilization techniques while the patient is under IV sedation. This procedure is performed in a fully monitored operating room while the patient is monitored by an accredited anesthesiologist.
