Dr. Andrew Dongwook Chung, MD

Dr. Chung and team are unresponsive and unhelpful. He's been the primary physician for my parents for some time, but they typically are left with a PA and don't see the doctor. He did not follow up when my father was hospitalized for a fall, though his office was notified. When we needed his signature on a care plan to get my parents into assisted living due to the fall, he and his staff could not come through despite having 10 days notice, and the the hard work of numerous social workers and treatment staff was wasted (not to mention hundreds of dollars). This practice is simply an assembly line for prescriptions staffed by PAs. Any expectation of care beyond that will not be met.

They will charge your insurance for services not rendered even if you choose to not proceed with treatment. Don’t advise

This doctor is a very good doctor and I highly recommend him for being a very understanding and caring doctor. thumbs up to you Dr, Chung.

My elderly father went in for his first appointment with this doctor. He is 77 and had to wait over 3 hours! My father was on time for his appointment, in fact was early, yet several people who came in after him were let right in for their appointment. My mother checked with the staff twice, so far, to see when they were going to be seen. They were told in 10 or 15 more minutes. This was over an hour ago! This kind of wait is unacceptable! They should be more considerate of their patients. You would think they would want to make a good impression on the first visit, but evidently not. Unless you want to wait over 2 hours in the waiting room I would suggest getting another recommendation.

Good bed-side manner and the staff was very friendly. Speed of service was also excellent. Thus far I am very content with him as my doctor and I feel like I will get the attention I need. Also, his office's use of an online portal makes it easy to setup appointments and check lab results.

Dr. Chung and his office staff are incredibly rude, discourteous and sarcastic. There are plenty of talented doctors in Dallas. Find another.

Dr. Chung and his staff are wonderful!!We were one of his first patients when he began practicing at Baylor and have recommended him to many friends, casual aquaintances and other Dr.'s.Perhaps that is why there is a slight wait. We now live 2 hours away and continue to use him as our physician as well as Baylor Dallas. We feel very fortunate to have Dr. Chung as our Dr. and know that he and his staff are providing us with the best medical care available.

Dr. Chung is an excellent doctor. He cares about his patients. It is difficult to get an appointment at times but then he has a lot of happy patients. Sometimes the waiting room is crowded. I do not get upset if this is the case as apparently the patients are being taken care of very well.The staff is awesome. Dr. Chung admitted me to the hospital immediately due to pneumonia. He was very concerned about my sickness and health. I have had back surgery and a nerve decompression surgery. He and one of his RN's Shirley checked on me each morning in the hospital before going into the office. He made sure I was treated well. He has referred me to excellent doctors. He has taken a great interest in my health. I could not ask for a better PCP.
