Dr. Andrew Michael Cohen, MD

Went to him as referral from an ENT to evaluate minor small activity by site where a miniscule parotid tumor was removed. No cancer there, just a few rogue cells that were unknown from surgery site. Now ten years later I am totally deaf due to him having me go through 7 weeks of radiation. I was clueless about side effects and he never told me I would become deaf. This man is a disgrace to the profession and I hope you heed my warning wherever your cancer is.

Dr. Cohen spent over an hour with my wife and myself. Since I am a Bladder Cancer survivor as well as dealing with prostate cancer, we had a number of questions and tough issues. He was very patient, knowledgeable, considerate, and understanding. We were also very impressed with his knowledge since I had a TURP surgery and wondered about the treatment of internal seeds as well as external radiation. We also wondered about the Spaceoar option. He was extremely knowledgeable on why the Spaceoar would or would not be needed. Dr. Cohen also suggested that we first talk to a surgeon to also explore Prostatectomy Surgery. He was not biased in anyway when considering treatment options. In short, we highly recommend him and will probably use him if we do the radiation option.
