Dr. Andrew James Dailey, MD

Poor staff. Would not return my calls. Not sure if it was him or the girl in his office. Never felt welcomed.

My mother went to see Dr Dailey when she was very ill. Dr Dailey took care of things very quickly. I truly believe he saved her life. So thankful he is our doctor.

Dr. Dailey was soo wonderful to me and my family. He completely explained everything to me and again to my family. He was patient and kind. Since my hospitilization I have seen him in two of his clinic locations, both provided an exceptional staff and again the best physician services I could ask for. I value the experience of Dr. Dailey and I fell blessed to know him and his staff!

Best doctor I have ever had! Sounds like the person commenting before me has problems with a lot of docs since they are already on their third nephrologist in three years! Dr Dailey spent almost 30 minutes dicsussing my test results and how we can treat my kidney problems. He did a thorough exam and I highly recommend Dr Dailey to anyone!

I visited Dr. A. Dailey for the first (and last) time in Nov. 2012. I will not return. At no time during this appointment did he ever examine me - he NEVER laid hands on me other than a hand shake upon entering the room. I explained my kidney diagnosis (I've been treated by another nephrologists for the past 10 years), he asked very few questions about my history. I stated more than once I had not had a 24 hour urine test in 2 years. He said he typically starts with urinalysis, but I questioned this further since it didnâ??t make sense for me to come back to him later for a test I needed now â?? he agreed. I was not comfortable with the appointment and decided not return after the lab work. I was a new patient yet, He NEVER examined me but my insurance was billed nearly $400 for the office visit. The only "exam" I received was having my blood pressure taken by the nurse. When I called for my 24 hour urine test results I was told I had to make an appointment for the results. I… refused the appointment & asked that the doctor call me, I was told he didn't have time to call all the patients so I asked that they at least mail the results to me. I received the lab results and called again asking for the doctor to provide an explanation of the lab print out. I was told again by Amanda â??that's why I was supposed to make an appointmentâ??. When I pushed back again and told her that I should not have to take off work and be billed for an office visit just to get routine lab results - she finally said they'd page the doctor to call me. He did return the call the same day and explained the results, but after my very disappointing office visit with him and the staff (Amanda) I decided to seek another doctor.

Best Doctor i have ever had!!!!!!

Dr. Dailey seems to be expert in his field and communicates with family. Doesn't make good eye contact when listening to family concerns/questions. Got ahead of himself in telling a newly diagnosed renal failure patient to think about long term dialysis modalities just one week post-op extensive open heart surgery. I think presenting the bad news was enough for that visit; asking the patient when he would be ready to discuss long term options would have been a better option considering he already had a long term cath for hemodialysis in place.
