Andrew Duxbury "MD" is known to have harmed elderly patients and their elderly family members. Please search all reviews for comprehensive info. In our first hand experience, Duxbury is, irrefutably, a narcissist and, in our attempting to cope with him, we too have sadly suffered his hugely significant, disturbing and frightening issues as also suffered by other patients and families documented in multiple reviews. UAB Systems and their Executives have been fully informed yet, equally frightening and disturbing, refuse to act to protect patients/families from the immense harm. As patients and families have stated, if you care about the lives of your elderly family members please stay far away from Duxbury. He cannot and must not be trusted.

I would definately recommend Dr. Duxbury. He was professional but kind in diagnosing a difficult to accept condition. He was also informative while maintaining a high level of sensitivity to my husbands' feelings about the disease and the prognosis. He never made him feel like he was "talking down" to him. However, he spent time explaining what to expect and ask him what he was experiencing. Excellant interpersonal patient skills!
