Dr. Andrew Jesse Engel, MD

I am really impressed by Dr. Andrew Engel and his staff at Affordable Pain Care. By sheer beautiful luck I was able to slip into a canceled appointment the same day I called and meet Dr. Engel, who went over everything thoroughly and ended up finding an issue that a previous doctor overlooked that could be causing all the pain I am dealing with. It wasn't the typical 20 minutes with the nurse and *maybe* 5 minutes to meet the doctor as I had experienced elsewhere, we were face to face for the entire appointment and had a very thorough workup. The same day he was able to offer an injection that certainly has helped. Dr Engel is really an amazing doctor and took the time to find out what was going on with my injuries to offer help, that first day. It really was a lifesaver. I'm traveling back from London next month just to be able to get his help, he is certainly worth it. If you are looking for a good caring pain management doctor, give Dr Engel a call, I really think you will… be glad you did.

One visit to Dr. Andy...his moniker of choice was one too many. Andrew Engel was the most unprofessional Dr. I have ever seen for my pain management issues.. He seems to think everything is funny including telling patients his marital problems. However, including the word affordable in the name of his clinic Affordable Pain Management is truly funny, as it is totally deceptive. I am in the process of correcting the billing errors and over charges by his office, which should be hilarious in the end. Do yourself a favor and see a real Dr., don't waste your time with handy Andy, as time is money!

Went back to my old provider. This guy literally doesn't listen Can't take a bp himself Discusses his genitalia in private ???? Creeped me out and all treatment failed. Please avoid.

After carefully listening to the description of my pain Dr. Engel gave me a curative injection.

Dr. Engel cured my pain on the initial visit.

Dr. Engel is the dr. that you want to have on your side. He knows what he's talking about and has a great personality!

After seeing multiple other doctors, Dr. Engel was able to control my pain.

Dr. Engel has treated my pain without side any side effects.

Dr Andrew is compassionate and dedicated towards helping people in pain. I have been seeing him for about a year and half. He has helped me in many ways with my chronic fibromyalgia. chronic pain. He listens, does he listen. He will talk with you about the whole self. To me, this is empowerment and enables me to understand myself as a person who lives with chronic pain. What I have come to learn to love about Dr Andrew is that it breaks pain down into steps. For me when I first went I approached the pain on a whole body mentality. Dr Andrew helped me understand the origins and root to many of my pain issues. He is outstanding, he spends time with you and he is very down to earth, A+

I called Dr. Engel and knew from the phone call that I wanted to have him as my doctor. His demenor was so positive and just the small amount of information he gave me about my situation was more than most doctors have given me in an office visit. Even though I did not like the result of the diagnosis (not good news) Dr, Engel spent a lot of time explaining and answering all my questions. He made me feel very comfortable. He was engaged and very honest. He is not there for the money...he is there to help find a solution and relieve the pain. I highly recommend Dr. Engel.
