I have never had such a comprehensive examination in over 40 years! I was more than impressed. What a gem!

Hearing that you have Cancer is one of the worst things you can hear. Your mind automatically raises a million questions and you are legitamately afraid. You feel like you've been given a death sentence. From my 1st visit to Dr Evans. He laid out a treatment procedure to me, made it seem like everything would be ok, which so far has been the case. He broke things down to me in percentages and averages which helped me to understand. This is a brilliant Dr. that always gives a sense of knowing, comfort and caring to his patients. He got me thru a very tough time with my prostrate cancer. Great personality, very warm and friendly, and explains things in a way that you totally get it. I was blessed to have him as my radiation doctor and feel as secure as possible under his care and guidance. The staff @ St. Lukes Radiation is also amazing. Very helpful an pleasant. They are to be commended. BTW, although we share the same last name, there is no relationship. I am Black hailing from… Jamaica.

Dr. Evans was my radiologist in 2007. He is very knowledgeable, smart, and professional. My experience has been very positive (if this can ever be said about cancer treatment). I would gladly recommend him as a radiation oncoligist.

I recently underwent radiation therapy for lung cancer, and received the very best treatment from Dr Evans and his staff. My initial consultation was very informative, and Dr Evans had obviously carefully reviewed my entire case before even entering the consultation. He spent 2 hours discussing all aspects of my care, and I felt reassured that I was in the best hands. My treatment was carefully and caringly delivered, and all the staff made sure I was supported throughout. He has continued my close folloeup, and although I am devestated at this diagnosis, I count myself lucky to have met this highly intelligent, caring, and human doctor.

My initial consultation was fine. He gave every indication of being a caring and complete doctor. However, as my radiation treatments went on, he became colder and and colder. He never even showed his face at my post-radiation follow up appointment.This man wrote untruths about experiences I had while under his care in his follow up letter to my breast surgeon. Very insecure people should not become doctors of this type. We rely on these people for our peace of mind. If this trust is undermined by their inability to accept others' decision-making and emotional fragility, through misinformation and resentment communicated to other doctors, the entire process becomes that much more painful for US, the people who are doing the suffering. Would not recommend him.
