Dr Andrew Christop Forgay

Paid $70 co pay to see a specialist last week and after waiting in waiting area, then waiting in a room to see Forgay all I got was a nurse coming in and going over my medication I take and Sugesting a nerve block. Forgay was no where to be seen. I asked billing to refund my $70 co pay. Last year I saw him in pain with my MRI report which he dismissed as no real problem at L5 -S1 . After a year and a half another doctor suggested a second opinion. Sure enough, diagnosed with a pinched nerve needing treatment at L5-S1. Never again will I see Forgay. 18 months of debilitating pain and months missed off work because he apparently mis read the mri!

No manners I’ve seen him once. His nurse ‘ I can’t do this or that until I talk to him’ well where is he. I went off some of my meds on my own. Now he wants to take me off of all of them. To me he acts like he gets points for getting you off meds not treating you condition. I have had my back problems for over 30 years I had my first surgery 17 years ago. 5 Back surgeries meds you name it ive had it. Injection I’ve had them. Spinal Cord stimulater I’ve had it. This pain is a different kind so they took X-rays and now I can’t get in touch with the Dr. his office will not return my calls. I have had it. I’ve seen many Dr. but I would have to rate him with no stars at all. After going to him which another referred him to me I think they should take his license from him and send him back to school. Dr. skills he don’t have. I’m so sorry I had to write this.

Dr. Forgay actually asked, "Why are you here?" He seemed mad that my "pain" is numbness and not excruciating pain that a needle can fix - numbness that interferes with my ability to walk and hold things. His non-verbal communication was that he was angry that I was there; that I was wasting his time. He referred to the doctor in my record who told me to avoid the triggers for my numbness (There are NO triggers - it just happens!) stating he was an excellent doctor. He sent me on my way without a follow up appointment. He wants me to contact him after I am finished with PT. I think not. It was he who wasted my time, not me who wasted his time!

Excellent, competent care, by Dr. Forgay's PA, Megan, and by Dr. Forgay. Office staff needs to be more efficient, neater, and pleasant to the patients in clinic and to those on the phone. Several show some snottiness with a little authority over patients. This is not a good environment for patients that are ill and in chronic pain. The employees seem very unhappy dealing with patients.

If you would like a rude, arrogant, non professional doctor, this is the Dr. for you! He does not care about the patient or listening to your concerns. All he wants to do is push you around and not treat the problem. I have seen numerous doctors who have told me about my condition. They are currently 3 1/2 hours away. or I would go see them. His NP is just as rude as him. They do what they want and when they feel like they don't want to help you as a patient, they refuse to see you. I would give him a score of zero if it was available. This doctor wants to talk about nutrition and not medical causes. Awful, awful, awful!!! Do not waste your time or money!

Dr. Forgay is very arrogant and talks down to patients. His exam was cursory, and he did not pay attention to my description of my pain. He gave me shots in an area where I told him I did not have pain. He told me to take pain meds every day and didn't listen when I told him they didn't stop the pain. He's scheduled a procedure for me that he did not explain to my satisfaction and didn't want to answer any questions about a pain that may be related. Do not go to Dr. Forgay. Other doctors have told me he is good, but I wouldn't expect them to say anything negative. Do yourself a favor. He also has you see his PA or NP instead of seeing you himself, unless you call and ask for him specifically. His nurse is not friendly. Find another doctor!

Went to Dr. Forgot after alot of research comparing to doctors out of town. He and his staffs attitude very cold and with lack of care. Felt like I was fitted into his time and they really didn't want to care for me. Very disappointed after my research.

I would not return!

just moved from out of state; family uses this dr; and my granddaughter is head of surgery at doctors hospital and knows him; she gives him high ratings; he was courteous, had taken a cursory review of my past history (had brought in medical records) hesitant to make a diagnosis without further x-rays; only that my condition is complicated; spinal stimulator not working anymore; pain excruciating from nape of neck , cervical and lumbar down right leg; gave me an Rx; seemed concerned; follow up appointment

The worst doctor ever. All bad reviews are correct. Know it all that knows nothing. Run and hide. Do not go to him if you have pain. He needs to see it on MRI and then says its not that bad. Knocks all doctors before him. 3 surgies before him. Still in pain. Terrible MRI plus stuff you cannot see he does not listen or care. Please run. I thought his website was to scare pill mill patients, nope. No meds only shots. 3 shots per year. Really iys time that helped you heal. Not him.. Maryland js where he messed up someone's back. Thats why he is in Augusta. RUUNNN AWAY. WORST EVER. Only nice staff. Thats why he has more than one star.
