Dr. Gessel works with a patient’s regular clinician and other specialists to provide skilled and compassionate care. He partners with his patients to help them improve their health. He became a doctor because he wants to constantly learn new things and to feel like his work makes a positive impact in his patients’ lives. Previously, Dr. Gessel was a researcher in Armenia and Ghana, studying the intersection of health and culture. He grew up in Washington, but now calls Oregon home.
