Dr. Andrew Raymond Getzin, MD

Professional, enthusiastic with a wonderful bedside manner. His staff was very helpful in scheduling appointments. Definitely recommend.

I like Dr. Getzin - he's a smart guy, talented athlete and very passionate about supporting his patients in whatever level in of my physical activity they might be at. Mostly I've used him as a guide or a motivator to get my bad self back into PT when I've needed it. My only criticism is that he can be a bit speedy and amped up. Which can a bit unnerving and pressured. Maybe this has to do with it being a sports medicine office. The receptionist, while very courteous and professional is the same way. It's like they're drinking adrenalin in with their morning coffee.

Dr Getzin is helping this aging athlete remain fit. His goal is to keep me active. It's my goal too!

I have only seen Dr. Getzin two time but have been very impressed with him and his whole office staff. They are prompt, very pleasant, understanding, caring and they seem knowledgeable. They also were very thorough and very interested in my well being. I would highly recommend him.

Happened to be on the spot when I dislocated my shoulder at at Tri. He placed it back in its socket absolutely 100% painlessly. Follow up visits (only 3, did not milk the ins company) to his office were excellent. As he predicted, therapist got it back to full and painless use.

I have nothing but positive remarks for Dr. Getzin. I am an elite amatuer athlete for many years and had a chronic injury that took me over two years to actually get a diagnosis. I spent 3 visits with Dr. Getzin, 2 procedures and ultimately surgery with a specialist in another state and every doctor I saw congratulated Dr. Getzins expertise. He spends a sufficient amount of time with you and provides direction that is up to you to follow and let's you drive your healthcare experience...A true professional and highly recommended if you are an athlete or weekend warrior!

I've seen Dr. Getzin for almost every sports injury I've had. Up until this last one, I liked him and trusted him, but now, I feel that I can't anymore. I injured my knee the day before the musical I was in opened. I went to him, and he told me that it was a hamstring strain and I was fine to perform to the extent my body would let me and no harm would come. Well, I did, and that was wrong! Every time I performed, my knee got worse. That was 6 weeks ago. Up until last week, he said that it was a hamstring strain and it would heal on its own. Well, he put me in physical therapy about 4 weeks ago, and thank God he did. My physical therapist thought that I might have torn my meniscus and sent him a note saying that I should have an MRI. So, when I saw him last week, he ordered an MRI. Lo and behold, there was a meniscus tear. Why didn't he think of this earlier? Why didn't he order an MRI before, especially since it had been so long and I wasn't better? I feel that I wasted 4 weeks or so… waiting for an accurate diagnosis. And now, he's told me to ditch my crutches because it would help strengthen my leg and wouldn't do any damage. Well, I did that for a couple days, and my knee got way worse! Don't waste your time going to him unless it's something minor. And if what he says doesn't make sense, go to someone else for a second opinion. I used to trust this guy, but now, I just can't. I'm probably going to have to have surgery because he told me something wrong 6 weeks ago!
