Dr. Andrew Greenberg, DDS

Meet Dr. Greenberg
Dr. Greenberg is a native of Florence, South Carolina. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana and is a 2009 graduate of the prestigious Medical University of South Carolina's College of Dental Medicine in Charleston, SC.
In 2008 Greenberg was awarded membership into the exclusive Presidental Scholars Program, one of the highest honors an MUSC student can receive.
Greenberg excelled in his basic-science and clinical studies at the College of Dental Medicine qualifying for the Dean's List many times. Dr. Greenberg belongs to numerous Dental Associations including the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, the American and SC Academies of General Dentistry, the Academy for Sports Dentistry, the MUSC Dental Alumni Association, the American Dental Political Action Commitee, and Psi Omega Dental Fraternity.
Andrew Greenberg had a passion for all things artistic from a very early age. From the age of …five he played classical piano and was a devoted artist and painter specializing in architechtural designs of skyscrapers. In middle school he was voted most-talented art student by the art faculty at Moore Middle School.
At age 15 Greenberg began playing the electric guitar in the award-winning Jazz Band at West Florence High School as well as forming and performing in numerous local bands. On the visual arts side he was at this time developing great skill as an amateur digital graphic artist, and programmer for online and desktop applications pre-dating the world-wide web.
After high-school Dr. Greenberg moved to New Orleans for his undergraduate training which included graphic and internet design classes, computer programming and systems design, as well as classical and jazz guitar. Recreationally Greenberg played guitar at legendary New Orleans venues and co-founded both an online promotional business and tourism site and a record label in South Carolina. He even studied Film Directing, Writing, Photography, Production, and Design in Los Angeles, California and went on to receive a certificate in Film-making from the New York Film Academy.
Since his undergraduate studies Dr. Greenberg or "Andy" as his freinds and family call him has continued to write and perform music on various instruments as well as designing both websites and multi-media art. Dr. Greenberg attempts to bring his multi-faceted knowledge of aesthetics, proportion, and general appreciation for beauty to every dental procedure he performs.
As a teen Dr. Greenberg was exposed to Medicine by his father Dr. Phillip Greenberg, a general surgeon, by working in his practice during the summer and watching numerous surgeries and procedures. He also read psychology and medical literature in his spare-time and participated in philanthropy through the Boy Scouts of America which awarded him both the coveted Eagle Scout award and induction into the secret society; the Order of the Arrow.
Dr. Greenberg was highly active in academic challenge throughout middle and high-school due to his excessive thirst for knowledge and his love of trivia. He even went on to win Most Valuable Player for his championship high school academic team.
Dr. Greenberg belongs to numerous Dental Associations.
