Dr. Andrew Grein, MD

I had an appointment to take my 1 year old son to see Dr. Grein for what I thought may be an ear infection. He looked in his ears and said they were clear. I had to ask him to listen to my son's chest and after listening and saying it was clear he still did no more examination. Didn't look in his throat or up his nose, nothing. My 6 year old son came with us. He did not have an appointment but had just finished a 10 day run of antibiotics from an ear infection prescribed to him by another Doctor at the same practice. I asked Dr. Grein to check his ears just to make sure it was gone. He looked in his ears and that was all. No other examination for him either. Now that was fine since all I wanted for the 6 year old was an ear re check. He said they were still infected and prescribed him some more antibiotics. So I go to the front desk and get charged a $25 copay for BOTH children even though he literally did nothing but stick the otoscope in their ears. Now, I should've marched… right back in their after being charged the 2 co pays and demanded a full examination. After all, that's what I'm paying for, right? But, I had two sick children so I left. I've been stewing on it ever since. I've seen him before and thought he wasn't very thorough but did not think to ask which Doctor my son would be seeing when I made the appointment. Ironically, a week later I had to make another appointment for my 6 year old for his ears and my 1 year old is still incredibly snotty and not feeling well. I would not recommend him at all and I will never take my children back to him again.
