Dr. Andrew Brian Grose, MD

Dr Grose was and is absolutely amazing, I traveled over an hour to see him and it was worth every second! He explained everything in detail for my broken femur that the last dr over a year ago did not handle correctly! Dr Grose made me feel like I can get better, he sent me immediately for an MRI! He was super friendly knowledgeable and patient!

I fell while running and fracture my fibula. I was referred to HSS and saw Dr. Grose and he explained everything about my leg and alleviated a lot of anxiety. He had a good sense of humor too.

My mom broke her femur for the second time. The hospital she was in was going to give her a surgeon that specialized in feet. I went and spoke to Dr Grose’s nurse and the good Dr heard me and without hesitation took my mom’s case. She is healing well. He is so kind and caring and a great surgeon. We went through heck to get her a trama surgeon and we got her the best!

I was taken to trauma 1 trauma center after a spontaneous break of my Femur. The first hospital I was admitted to would not touch the break because of the same side hip had gone thru a 3rd revision. Dr. Grose did a fabulous job fixing the break and protecting the fragile hip. I am happy he is in Stamford should I need his expertise again. marion v

A lot of negative reviews here, but I must say I was a patient of Dr.Grose in May of 2016 after a terrible car accident left me with an acetabular fracture (hip fracture) at the age of 25, several days after my 25th birthday. I had severe pain and was in terrible shape and by default taken to WMC. Dr.Grose was assigned to treat me and performed a hip pinning operation on me. He told me life would be a little different and the road would be rough but I would be good again. Two and a half years later, I am walking, able to do most activities and thanks to Dr.Grose I am walking, can exercise and essentially 98% of what I was before my accident. I want to thank you Dr. Grose because without you, I would be immobile the rest of my life. After a lengthy 8 hour operation, I am in relatively good shape 2 and a half years later and I have Dr.Grose to thank for ensuring I will have a good quality of life. Thank You for making it possible for me to have a normal life again Dr.Grose.

Dr Grose is an uncaring physician who collects a check. We went for a consult & was planning on having surgery with him & he didn’t ask for an mri or past operation notes to try & understand what he was getting into & what exactly needed to happen in surgery. He said he would figure it out when he was in there. When we told him the ligament was missing he asked which one & said we’ll i probably would just leave it alone. After seeing other orthopedics who ordered an mri & was aware there was no ligament they actually called another doctor in for help with it. There are good doctors out there but Dr Grose is not one of them.

my sister was in WMC for a couple of weeks had her first surgery with Adam Lazzarini in April of 2016 which is a disaster this Lazzarini surgeon just decided to ignore his oath and THE LAW whereby you must give your patients 30 days notice and get the patient set up with a comparable back up Grose surgeon was referred to a total nialistic, narcissist both of them Grose leaving us high and dry they send you for testing then refute the results just so they can get out of treating you sorry guys MALPRACTICE SUITS ON THEIR WAY!...sad sad days when we have surgeons or doctors out there like this and the hospital just ignores all of it! Pass the word along. See them, and you will DIE. TRUTH!.
