Andrew Hantel, MD, MPH

Dr. Andrew Hantel specializes in oncology, bringing 17 years of medical expertise to cancer care. He earned his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago and completed his internal medicine residency at The University of Chicago Medicine. Dr. Hantel pursued advanced fellowship training at The University of Chicago in both medical ethics and hematology/medical oncology, completing his specialized cancer training in 2019. His dual background in clinical oncology and medical ethics provides patients with both expert cancer treatment and thoughtful, compassionate care. He communicates with patients in English.

Dr. Hantel practices at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts, and maintains affiliations with The University of Chicago Medicine.
