Dr. Andrew J Hazley, MD

I'm so glad I made the choice to see Dr. Hazley. A coworker recommended him based on her positive experience from gallbladder surgery and her husband's hernia surgery. During my initial consultation, he took the time to explain everything so clearly, and he is very easy to talk to. He was able to fit me into surgery the next day, and he did an amazing job. During the follow-up appointments, he made sure I was making adequate progress every week. His nurse is very caring and couldn't have been more helpful. By the 3rd week I was biking, running, and back to my normal self thanks to this man. He has 42 years of experience, and he was one of the first in the country to do laparoscopic hernia repair. We are lucky to have such a quality doctor in Murfreesboro.

I have had extensive experience dealing with healthcare providers, thankfully it has been as a guardian or administrator, until now. I had a workplace injury which resulted in hernia. I chose Dr. Hazley due to a friend that sees another doctor in the facility. I expected the in/out treatment due to my needs being a work comp case. I expected the treatment and professionalism to deteriorate once I stated that it was work completely paying. It did not. Everyone treated me like a professional athlete. Dr. Hazley encouraged questions and I received an education on the procedure, history and expectations. The staff was extremely helpful and actually did the job of my work comp provider. They made sure I was taken care of. I give them my highest recommendation in all facets of their service. The surgery performed by Dr. Hazley was outstanding.

My experience with Dr.Hazley was a good one. I had to have multiple surgeries due to an illness. He has always been kind and takes time with me. I had to have a hysterectomy by another doctor which I was extremely nervous about. While being prepared for surgery in walks Dr.Hazley to assist my GYN. I felt a lot less anxious. He held my hand while I received the meds for surgery. This is the Dr.Hazley I know.

He spent no time with me.

I would not recommend him. He does not take the time to answer your questions. It seems as though he does not even care. He seems like he only wants to get you out of the office. He just wants your money.
