My Oncologist made me feel uplifting and positive.

My doctor visit was delayed for 1.30 hours. No apologies. No one warned me that there would be such a delay. During the visit, I felt that the doctor wanted to finish the appointment as quickly as possible, as if he was in a hurry and wanted to get rid of me. Although I was supposed to have a 30-minute appointment, the visit lasted a maximum of 10 minutes.

Had to wait an hour past the time my appointment was set. He seemed offended that I wanted to ask questions. He did not answer my questions and he seemed to be completely unfamiliar with the treatment I had as well as the facts of my case. He walked in clearly in a rush to get my appointment over and done with, spoke to me briefly and ordered tests which were completely wrong. It was scary to have cancer and see a specialist who was suppose to help me, but was completely out of touch with me and my illness. I dropped him and found a different doctor who is absolutely great. I would not recommend that anyone use Dr. Hendifar.

Dr. Hendifar was excellent explaining my scan results and answering my questions. Also making recommendations after reading blood work up

Dr. Hendifar is very competent

I would not recommend Dr. Hendifar. When a recent PET scan showed that my cancer metastasized to a different organ, his response was, “I’m not concerned. It happens all the time,” with no explanation or reassurance. He shows no curiosity when issues aren’t obvious, dismissing valid concerns and, in my experience, he gas lights by implying their symptoms aren’t real. Additionally, he is consistently late—often by over an hour—without apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused. I respect that doctors often run behind, but it's his total disregard for patients’ time and inability to even offer a kind apology that isn't right. I am going to find an alternative to Dr. Hendifar. I think he's a great liability to Cedar Sinai.

Dr. Hendifar is great! Wonderful physician.
