A Boulder native, Andrew Hildner has spent most of his academic and professional career in the state of Colorado. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he ran Division I track. He completed his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA. Andrew has spent most of professional career working in orthopedics and emergency medicine and believes this background makes him a well rounded healthcare provider. He decided to join SCL Physicians - Lafayette because he wants to foster long-term relationships with his patients and work to help them change through education and follow-up."I like working with each patient to treat their core concerns. Practicing medicine includes a wonderful mixture of being scientifically minded and having human interaction. To me, there is nothing more beneficial or rewarding than caring for patients."For the past 12 years Andrew has volunteered with the Rocky Mountain Rescue …Group, which allows him to continue practicing emergency medicine.
